In this work I present some of the fundamental ideas of Charles S. Peirce about the semiosis and his developments from the theoretical terms proposed in the series of articles published in The Monist (1891-1893).
Particularly, I analyse the notion of continuity as process of affectation of the consciences and explanatory of the communication or dialogue, and three possibilities of conceiving the reality across his supposed evolution: tijastic, anancastic and agapastic.
Three models (explanatory, descriptive, alternative - performative) that, finally, can be considered three typologies of the signal production (specially artistic) even of the dialogical relations in terms of Bachtin in that the beginning of continuity is not necessarily neutral and implies a possible dissent (dispute).
Exactly, the most interesting textual productions, they are those in which there produces to itself some type of incomprehension understood as production of a different sense, generated by the significant shock from the difference, which postulates the idea of that the meaning completes in the reception.
