El objetivo principal de este artículo es editar críticamente la inscripción de la tumba del abad Esteban (Santiago de Peñalba, siglo XII). Incidentalmente, se discuten también las ediciones anteriores realizadas por otros autores.
La tarea se completa con un breve estudio, lingüístico e histórico, de la inscripción.
The main purpose of this article is to edit critically the inscription on the tombstone of abbot Stephanus (Santiago de Peñalba, XIIth Century). The former editions by other authors are also incidentally discussed. The work is completed with a linguistic and historical study of inscription.
