L�objectiu de l�article és analitzar la relació que es produí a finals de la primera dècada del segle xx entre els poetes Joaquim Folguera i J. V. Foix, especialment a partir de la col.laboració que mantingueren en la redacció de La Revista. Així mateix s�analitza la influència d�aquesta relació en l�evolució posterior de Foix (una vegada mort Folguera el 1919), sobretot pel que fa a l�assumpció de les idees bàsiques del postsimbolisme i a la concepció de l�avantguarda que Foix acabarà defensant. L�aportació de Folguera a la poesia catalana del seu moment permet entendre l�evolució i modernització del gènere, de la mateixa manera que la mitificació que Foix fa d�aquesta aportació ajuda a entendre la seva pròpia evolució com a poeta i la connexió amb el context de la literatura catalana i europea dels anys 20. L�article també s�endinsa en aquest context, amb referències a altres poetes i sobretot a Joan Salvat-Papasseit, que ja a l�època és vist com a antimodel.
The aim of this article is to examine the relationship that arose towards the end of the first decade of the twentieth century between the poets Joaquim Folguera and J. V. Foix, in particular after their collaboration on the board of La Revista. We also study the influence of this relationship on the later development of Foix (after the death of Folguera in 1919), placing particular emphasis on the adoption of the basic ideas of postsymbolism and as far as the conception of the avant-garde that Foix was to come to defend is concerned. Folguera�s contribution to the Catalan poetry of his time enables us to comprehend the evolution and modernization of the genre, just as Foix�s mythification of this contribution helps us to understand his own development as a poet, and the way that this links up with Catalan and European literature in the twenties. The article also looks into this with references to other poets, especially Joan Salvat-Papasseit, who at the time is already seen as an antimodel.
