Durante los últimos años uno de los objetivos fundamentales de nuestra actividad investigadora ha sido el estudio de los sustantivos verbales. En esta adoptamos una perspectiva global e integradora con la que tratamos de explicar y justificar, no solo su naturaleza categorial- con las implicaciones semántico-cognitivas que ello suponía- sino también los principios que rigen y explican sus distintas manifestaciones. A lo largo de nuestra investigación constatamos que estos, los llamados sustantivos verbales, además de procesos de formación distintos, muestran entre ellos mismos propiedades sintácticas y semánticas muy diferentes. Así pues, en los siguientes apartados tratamos de organizar y sistematizar dicha diversidad en función de los rasgos de nominalización y lexicalización que en estos se observen.
During the latest years one of the main topics of our research has been the study of a special kind of nouns, so called Action Nominals. We tried to explain the special semanctic, syntactic, cognitive and communicative properties of these nouns. However, Action Nominlas are not an homogeneous category. We found differences in their way of creation, differences in their meaning and differences in their syntactic properties. Therefore, along the following lines we will try to organize and systematize such diversity. In order to do that we propose having into consideration different levels of nominalization and lexicalization.
