This article proposes a resumption of Gaston Bachelard's discussions about reveries with regard to childhood. On resuming such reflections one tried to associate them with the poetic images evoked by the poets. In this specific study, we did it through some poems by the brazilian poet Manuel Bandeira. Such poems allowed multiple images to be identified.
Delighted by the images and its poetic resonance, the senses awake and harmonize themselves in a poetic reverie that makes the world more beautiful, especially when attention is turned to childhood. Working on the history of each one, the reverie let us go back to childhood and this is beneficial for adult life when we let ourselves reconnect with the child we were that still can nourish us, bringing comfort and calmness.
