Based on readings on the method of dialectical historical materialism proposed by Marx (who gives us a basis for understanding the functioning of societies) and also about language in the perspective developed by Mikhail Bakhtin, this article seeks to highlight some forms of sense that, given the inherent distinction between social classes highlighted the contradictions of having / not-having and being / not beig, manifest power strategies by language. Considering the properties of their utterance will be analyzed two pictures materialized and mediated by Desencannes site in order to delineate the relationship between the capitalist mode of production (this in production practices and consumption of goods) and an interpretation of how such is culturally constituted and meaning in these images. Our conclusion would establish a possible deployment of the concept of cultural industries inaugurated by Adorno and Horkheimer (initially thought about media such as TV, cinema, radio and newspapers) in order to more contemporary media tools: the computer and the Internet.
