En este texto se exponen los problemas que preocupan y ocupan a la asociación en el contexto de un aumento de la enseñanza del portugués en el sistema educativo reglado. Fundamentalmente, se señala la escasez de medios y la falta de previsión estructural para alcanzar los fines y/u objetivos, tanto política como legalmente planteados. Asimismo, se apunta la necesidad de concretar real y materialmente la implantación de la enseñanza del portugués como segunda lengua extranjera en todos los niveles del sistema educativo.
This text presents the problems that concern and occupy the association in the context of an increase in the teaching of Portuguese in the formal education system. Basically, it points to the scarcity of means and the lack of structural foresight to achieve the ends and/or objectives, both politically and legally proposed. Likewise, the need to really and materially implement the teaching of Portuguese as a second foreign language at all levels of the education system is pointed out.
