The magazine "Presença, folla de Arte e Crítica" (1927-1940) was by its nature, role, disclosure, defense of literature, a particular modernist document within Portuguese publications. In this article we propose, firstly, to clarify the involvement of women in the 56 numbers of the magazine "Presença", giving visibility to these artists, creators and writers and, secondly, contribute to the understanding of their work in the cultural and literary Portuguese panorama.
Thus, we intend to examine what was the effective collaboration of these women and then get on to the analysis and comment of female authorship in the "Presença", In this article we intend to contribute, by the first time, to a gender approach in the "Presença", giving visibility to the work of a group of women present, from the year 1928 in a magazine of art and critics and exclusively directed by men, that contributed, in our opinion, to difnify the Portuguese women condition in the twenty century throught art and literature.
A revista "Presença, folla de Arte e Crítica" (1927-1940) foi pela sua ideologia, papel de divulgaçao, defesa da literatura e cariz modernista, um documento particular dentro das publicaçaos periódicas portuguesas. Neste artigo pretendemos, em primeiro lugar, aclarar a participaçao de mulheres nos 56 números da revista "Presença", dando visibilidade a estas artistas, criadoras e escritorase, em segundo lugar, contribuir para a valorizaçao da sua obra no panorama cultural e literário português.
Assim, examinaremos o que foi a efetiva colaboraçao artística destas criadoras na revista, partindo depois para a análise e comentário da obra de autoria feminina na "Presença".
Procuramos pois contribuir, e pensamos que pela primerira vez, par uma aproximaçao de estudos de género na "Presença", dando visibilidade a um grupo de mulheres que colaborou, a partir do ano 1928. numa revista de arte e de crítica, exclusivamente dirigida por vozes masculinas, e que pela via artística e literária, em nossa opiniao, contribuiu para a dignificaçao da condiçao feminina portuguesa no século XX.
