Nos ocupamos de la elección entre los verbos ir / anar y venir en español y catalán / valenciano cuando el traslado, dirigido hacia un lugar donde no está el hablante ni el interlocutor, es realizado por un sujeto de segunda persona de singular y la oración lleva el comitativo conmigo / amb mi. Los datos se recogieron a través de una prueba realizada entre hablantes peninsulares nativos y bilingües de español así como entre hablantes catalanes y valencianos. Contrariamente a lo que se esperaría, las diferencias entre hispanohablantes y catalanohablantes resultan pocas. Además, la presencia o ausencia del auxiliar querer / voler condiciona la elección entre ambos verbos en gran medida.
The article deals with the choice between the verbs ir / anar and venir in Spanish and Catalan / Valencian when the movement, headed towards a place not occupied by the speaker or the hearer, is done by a subject in the second person of the singular and the sentence includes the complement conmigo / amb mi. The data was collected by means of a test carried out among peninsular native and bilingual speakers of Spanish, as well as among native speakers of Catalan / Valencian. Contrary to expectations, the differences between Spanish and Catalan speakers appear to be small. The presence or absence of the auxiliary querer / voler also conditions the choice to a great extent.
