Judiciary processes are the most abundant source of information we have about daily life of the "popolo minuto" in old times. And the more interesting are those made before episcopal authorities, because they refer more directly to moral behaviour, so useful to understand the social mentality of the times. In this context, we present this "causa" of 1610. The wife o a pastry maker of Figueres accuses the organ player of the parochial church ( a clergyman certainly, although probably not a priest) of violation. The accusation is retired later. Why? Maybe the woman was in agreement? It is probably so, because the process ends without a condemnation. In the episcopal prison of Bàscara, the presumed violator denies everything, and in fact the process ends without sentence. Probably the affair was arranged financialy, and the organist was admonished to improve his way of life in the future.
