El siguiente trabajo se enfoca en laspeliculas que tratan el tema de las guerras deindependencia latinoamericana y en la evolucionhistorica del cine de la region. Destacamos los titulos,tendencias y cuestiones mas relevantes para demostrarque su cine siempre ha ofrecido una imagen variopintade si misma y entramos en detalles sobre la concepcionde “Independencia”, tanto desde el punto de vista de lahistoria nacional como desde el de la cinematografia.
The aim of this paper is to focalize on thosemovies that deal with the Latin-American war ofindependence and on the evolution of the region’scinema. We’ll lay emphasis on the most relevant titles,tendencies and questiones in order to demonstrate thattheir cinema has always provided a multi-colouredimage of itself and we’ll enlarge upon the notion of“Independence”, both from the point of view ofnational history and cinematography.
