Nuestro trabajo se ocupa de la historiadel hispanismo en Serbia y de la presencia de lasliteraturas hispánicas en su ámbito académicoy cultural. Después de senalar los trabajos deinvestigación que han estudiado esta materia, losestudios de la profesora Ljiljana Pavlovic Samurovicque ha estudiado en parte los primeros contactosde la cultura espanola con la serbia y la presenciade Cervantes en Serbia, luego el valioso trabajo dela profesora Jasna Stojanovic sobre la recepciónde la obra de Cervantes en Serbia y la tesis de laprofesora Vesna Dickov, una extensa y minuciosainvestigación sobre la recepción de la literaturahispanoamericana en Serbia, pasamos revista a lasprimeras traducciones de obras de autores espanolesque aparecieron en Serbia.
Our work analyses the history ofHispanism in Serbia and the presence of Hispanicliterature in its academic and cultural environment.After pointing out the works of investigation thathave studied this subject, the studies of professorLjiljana Pavlovic Samurovic that partly analysedthe fi rst contacts of the Spanish culture with theSerbian one and the presence of Cervantes in Serbia,afterwards the valuable work of professor JasnaStojanovic on the reception of Cervantes’work inSerbia and the thesis of professor Vesna Dickov,an extensive and meticulous investigation on thereception of Latin-American literature in Serbia, wewill make reference to the fi rst translations of workswritten by Spanish authors that appeared in Serbia.
