  El presente artículo versa sobre aquellaparte de la narrativa espanola que se constituyecomo la imagen – inmediata, caliente, subjetiva- de un tiempo histórico marcado por la Guerracivil de 1936-1939. Al ocuparse de la gradual acumulaciónde las tensiones ideológicas, del estallidoy desarrollo de la contienda y al recrear, conlos medios de un arte sumamente comprometido,la atmósfera de un mundo violento y tajantementedividido entre “los buenos” y “los malos”, segúnse mire, esta clase de narrativa quiere ser, simultáneamente,un testimonio, una justifi cación y unaincitación propagandística. Del amplio conjunto denovelas pertenecientes a esta categoría – aparecidacon la guerra, pero no desaparecida con ella -, existenteentre los dos bandos en confl icto, estudiamosaquí únicamente las que representan la ideologíade las derechas, de la ultraderecha falangista sobretodo y, más concretamente, una que se ha vueltoemblemática para este mundo que ha perdido sunorte y piensa haberlo encontrado bajo el signo dela camisa azul.

  The paper herein is focused on the partof the Spanish narrative which is constituted as theimage – immediate, warm, subjective – of a historicalperiod marked by the 1936-1939 Civil War.In dealing with the gradual accumulation of theideological tensions, the outbreak and the developmentof the confl ict and with the recreation, by themeans of a highly committed art, the atmosphereof a violent world and sharply divided between “thegood” and “the bad”, as it appears, this kind of narrativeaims to be simultaneously a testimony, a justification and a propagandistic incitement. Out ofthe wide range of novels belonging to this category– which appeared with the war, but did not disappearwith it – existent between the two sides inthe confl ict – we study here only those that representthe ideology of the Right, especially of radicalright Falange and, specifi cally, one that has becomeemblematic for this world which has lost sight ofsomething and thinks to have found it under thesign of the blue shirt.
