Se examinan los criterios estructurales del proemio de las Antigüedades romanas de Dionisio de Halicarnaso con especial atención a su relación con los apuntes del autor sobre el proemio de Tucídides, y también los aspectos de construcción de la frase, para definir las pautas estilísticas del proemio y ubicarlo en la polémica literaria de su tiempo.
This article examines the structural criteria of the proem of Dionysius’ Roman antiquities, with special attention to their relation with the author’s ideas about the general proem of Thucydides. It also pays attention to the phrase, in order to define the stylistic rules of the proem and its place in the literary polemic of Dionysius’ time.
