Resumen de La actitud del aprendiz de una segunda lengua (L2) hacia su lengua materna (L1) como factor en el proceso de aprendizaje de la L2

  En este trabajo se sugiere que en la propia idiosincrasia del idioma materno (L1), y en concreto en las actitudes que el aprendiz de L2 tiene hacia su L1, se pueden encontrar claves para una mejor comprensión del problema del aprendizaje de una L2. A partir del concepto de actitud lingüística (R.C. Gardner, 1985), en este trabajo se postula una relación entre la actitud del hablante hacia la norma de su lengua materna y la facilidad del hablante para aprender y usar una segunda lengua (L2).

  This paper suggests that we can find some clues for a better understanding of second language acquisition in the idiosyncrasy of the mother language (L1), and specifically in the attitudes that the L2’s learner has towards his L1. Based on the concept of linguistic attitude (R.C. Gardner, 1985), this paper posits a relationship between the speaker's attitude toward his native language standards and norm and ease of the speaker to learn and use a second language (L2).
