    Following a theoretical model, this article assumes that the poet of the Iliad is aware of the potential inconsistency between the traditional account of the wrath and the version which he elaborates, and shows how the poem manages both according to its expressive and structural purposes.

    [it] Seguendo un modello teorico, questo lavoro mostra come l’autore dell’Iliade sia consapevole della potenziale contraddittorietà tra la versione tradizionale della storia dell’ira e la versione che egli elabora, gestendo entrambe secondo le esigenze espressive e le finalità strutturali del poema.
