La literatura juvenil realista, propicia entre muchos otros aspectos, analizar la relación que se establece en la lectura y la construcción de la propia identidad del lector adolescente. En este artículo proponemos el análisis de dos novelas juveniles: El cuaderno de Ángela de Raquel Ricart, y Marina de Gemma Pasqual, ambas nos permiten establecer la relación que existe en la literatura de los demás y la identidad cultural; la sensación de desplazamiento que experimenta la construcción del yo, la importancia de aprender sobre la herencia cultural y apreciar como la cultura influye en la identidad.
Realist youth literature promotes, among other things, the analysis of the relationship that is found between the book and constructing the identity of the adolescent reader. In this article two youth literature novels will be analised:
