En el soneto tercero de las Rimas de Antonio de Paredes el autor se vale del motivo poético de las ruinas otorgándoles valor ejemplar. Pretendemos analizar cómo introduce dicho motivo unido a otros tópicos de contenido moral para componer un poema de modalidad elegíaca y argumento consolatorio. Y también destacar que Paredes incorpora la ciudad de Córdoba al paradigma español de la «poesía de las ruinas».
In the third sonnet of the Rimas, Antonio de Paredes uses of the poetical motive of the ruins granting exemplary value to them. We try to analize how Paredes introduces the above mentioned motive joined other topics of moral content for composing a poem of elegiac modality and consolatory argument. And to emphasize that Paredes incorporates Córdoba into the Spanish paradigm of the «poetry of the ruins».
