  • This article describes some common aspects in the life of two important intellectuals of the 17th century: Cervantes and Montaigne. Their passion for books, their common readings, their love of freedom, and their unplanned ways of learning are just some of these coincidences. On the other hand, their ways of approaching and understanding the world are always thought-provoking and inspiring.
