En el presente artículo proponemos un acercamiento teórico-práctico sobre las principales características que definen la versión subtitulada y doblada al castellano de la película Gomorra, reflexión cuyo intento ha sido poner en evidencia la importancia y al mismo tiempo las dificultades representadas por las distintas variantes lingüísticas presentes en el largometraje que tanto éxito ha dado a la ya exitosa novela con el título homónimo del escritor Roberto Saviano.
Tras una breve introducción acerca de los principales teoremas que postulan y definen la variación lingüística (y todas sus articulaciones), nuestro trabajo quiere ofrecer tanto un análisis de las soluciones adoptadas por los traductores como de las distintas tareas que componen el proceso de traducción con el fin de realizar una comparación crítica de los resultados obtenidos.
This article wants to be a theoretical and practical approach on the main characteristics that define the subtitled and dubbed into Castilian version of the Italian movie Gomorra, a reflection whose intent has been to highlight the importance as well as the difficulties represented by the different language variants present in the film that gave great fame to the already successful novel of the same title written by the writer Roberto Saviano.
After a brief introduction about the main theorems formulated by renowned linguists on the main characteristics that define the linguistic variation, our work aims to provide an analysis of the solutions adopted by translators as well as of the various tasks of the translation process in order to perform a critical comparison of the results.
