  Nacida en 1920, en la aldea minera de Pueblonuevo del Terrible (Córdoba), la editorial anarquista Renovación Proletaria impulsó un interesante catálogo de publicaciones en la precaria Andalucía rural de entonces. Como otras muchas empresas de su estirpe, su intención iba más allá del mero proselitismo político: se trat ba de formar culturalmente al obrero para lograr su emancipación como persona.

  Born in 1920, in the mining village of Pueblonuevo del Terrible (Córdoba), the anarchist publishing house Renovación Proletaria promoted an interesting catalogue of publications in the meager, rural Andalusia of that time. As many other firms of its kind, its intention was not only the mere politi- cal propaganda but also and above all, the global, cultural training of the worker in order to achieve his emancipation as a person.
