  Se abordan los aspectos siguientes: Tauromaquia como expresión de cultura y arte (aportación a las demás artes, reconocimientos por el Ministerio de Cultura y las reales academias); fiesta de toros, ecología o animalismo (singularidad de la raza bovina de lidia);

  intelectualidad y toreo (relación entre ambos mundos); y aportación de Córdoba a la tauromaquia, el califato taurino (Lagartijo, Guerrita, Machaquito, Manolete y El Cordobés).

  The following aspects are described: Bullfighting as an art and culture expression (contribution to other arts, awards by the Ministry of Culture and royal academies); Bullfight, ecology or animalism (singularity of the fighting bull); intellectuality and bullfighting (relationship between both words); and contribution from Córdoba to bullfighting, the taurine caliphate (Lagartijo, Guerrita, Machaquito, Manolete and El Cordobés).
