Este ensayo estudia la configuración estereotípica de los personajes de la historieta latinoamericana, analizando de qué forma se han logrado particularizar una serie de elementos icónicos y situaciones canónicas en la que se manifiesta esta estructura. Asimismo, se indagan los mecanismos interculturales que permitieron el aprovechamiento de particularidades gráficas que tienen aplicación dentro del lenguaje de la historieta, siendo el personaje un elemento de la estructura delimitado por factores de modelización cultural y a condiciones particulares de producción, distribución y circulación.
This essay explores the stereotypical configuration of the characters in the Latin American comics, analyzing how particularize a series of iconical elements and canonic situations in which this structure is manifested. Although investigate the intercultural mechanisms that allow to take advantage of graphic special features that has global applications inside the comics language, being the characters an element of the structure limited by modelized cultural factors and particular conditions of production, distribution and circulation.
