Este artículo se centra en ofrecer una tipología de las transcripciones del plano fónico atendiendo a la tricotomía “sistema, norma y habla” establecida por E. Coseriu. Así, observamos en primer lugar las bases sobre las que se sustenta esta distinción tri- ple, también en relación con el plano fónico, como modo de superación de la dicotomía lengua/habla. Seguidamente, señalamos algu- nas ideas que, en el ámbito de la fonología y la fonética, se han ofrecido también en esta di- rección. Llegamos así a vincular la tipología de transcripciones con las instancias delimitadas por Coseriu, como alternativa a las distincio- nes tradicionales –transcripciones ancha, estre- cha y semiestrecha–, que han tenido una desigual aplicación en los estudios del español.
This paper focuses on providing a typology of the transcriptions of the phonic level in accordance with the trichotomy “system, norm and speech” established by E. Coseriu.
Firstly, the bases of this triple distinction, also in relation to the phonic level, are reviewed, as a way of overcoming the language/speech dichotomy. Then, some ideas in the field of phology and phonetics, also offered in this direction, are pointed out. Thus, the types of transcriptions are linked to the instances delimited by Coseriu as an alternative to the traditional kinds –broad, narrow and semi-narrow–, which have had an uneven application in the studies of Spanish.
