  Este estudio trata sobre la iconografía de la Virgen María en el antiguo reino de Sevilla en la segunda mitad del siglo XIII, durante el reinado de Alfonso X el Sabio, analizando sus prototipos y profundizando en su significado para constatar, finalmente, la expansión de estos modelos desde la metrópoli hacia la periferia a finales de aquel siglo y comienzos del siglo XIV

  In this paper we study the iconography of the Virgin Mary in the kingdom of Seville in the 13th century, during the reign of Alfonso X the Wise. We analise the main characteristics and the significance of the images and show how these prototypes spread from the city further afield towards the end of the century and at the beginning of the 14th century.
