The vegetable world is one of the aspects in Matèria de Bretanya [Matter of Britain] that is most present and loaded with meaning. This article details, compares and examines them in order to observe the symbolic and semantic makeup guiding the literary discourse: a whole network of senses that connect to memory, imagination and symbolism, and that make up a unique imaginary landscape capable of creating the most vivid images for the reader.
