En aquest text s'analitzen arguments apareguts en editorials de premsa des del punt de vista de la legitimitat atribuïda a les llengües catalana i castellana amb relació a l'elaboració de lleis lingüístiques a Catalunya. Es parteix d'una idea de legitimitat que incorpora aquella realitat donada per descomptat, que es considera com a forma normal, amb el reconeixement tàcit d'un ordre o la manca de reconeixement de la seva arbitrarietat. L'anàlisi dels textos es realitza des de les estratègies d'argumentació i els raonaments utilitzats a les línies editorials dels diaris en la defensa d'opinions.
This paper analyzes arguments which appeared in newspaper editorials from the point of view of the legitimacy attributed to the Catalan and Spanish languages in relation to the development of language laws in Catalonia. The concept of legitimacy incorporates the reality that is taken for granted, which is considered as normal, with the tacit recognition of a certain order or the absence of recognition of its arbitrariness. The analysis of texts is carried out on the basis of the strategies of argumentation and reasoning used in newspaper editorials in the defense of opinions.
