El trabajo compara las construcciones verbo de movimiento + por y verbo de movimiento + a + por en el siglo XIX en España. El objetivo central es analizar los sustantivos, verbos y contextos que propiciaron la expansión de la segunda construcción hasta convertirse en una secuencia caracterizadora del dialecto de España. La hipótesis que guía el trabajo es que la secuencia a por aparecerá fundamentalmente y antes en los contextos y situaciones comunicativas que requieran poner de relieve la consecución de una meta, porque tales contextos tienen afinidad con el significado básico general de a. El análisis cuantitativo está apoyado con pruebas de estadístico z.
This paper compares two prepositional constructions: movement verb + por and movement verb + a + por in a large corpus from the 19th century in Spain. The aim of the paper is to analyze the nouns, verbs and contexts which motivated the generalization of the prepositional chain a por in Peninsular Spanish. The hypothesis is that a por will appear firstly in those contexts which need to profile the achievement of the goal because these contexts are akin to the basic meaning of the preposition a. The quantitative evidence is supported by z statistic proof.
