Entre los siglos XIII y XV se registran almotaclacía y almotaclaz en documentación relativa a Toledo, Sevilla y Córdoba. Estos términos no han sido incluidos en los diccionarios.
Aquí se presenta una breve historia de estas voces, se propone un origen etimológico y se establece un parentesco con el arabismo almocatracía .
Between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, the documentation relating to Toledo, Seville and Cordoba recordes the words almotaclacia and almotaclaz. These terms have not being included in the dictionaries. This paper aims to make a brief history of these words, their meaning and their origins. Also, we propose an etymological relationship with the arabism almocatracía.
