Este trabajo trata de delinear la postura de Rodrigo Fresán en Historia argentina (1991) sobre el nacionalismo, la guerra y la identidad a través de las críticas a los referentes que conforman la argentinidad. Para ello, se recurre a las reflexiones de Fernando Iwasaki sobre multiculturalidad y la relación entre mestizaje identitario y lengua, así como a las teorías de Adan Kovacsics acerca de la manipulación del lenguaje en períodos bélicos. Se propone, pues, leer esta obra a la luz de Las palabras primas (2018), de Iwasaki y Guerra y lenguaje (2007), de Kovacsics para mostrar las distintas formas paródicas de la identidad nacional y del lenguaje propagandístico que la representa en la obra de Fresán.
This work tries to draught the position of Rodrigo Fresán in Historia argentina (1991) about nationalism, war and identity through criticism of the references that make up the Argentine. For it, we use Fernando Iwasaki’s reflections about multiculturalism and the relationship between identity hybrid and language, as well as Adan Kovacsics theories about language manipulation in war periods. We suggest, then, to read this work in the light of Las palabras primas (2018), by Iwasaki and Guerra y lenguaje (2007), by Kovacsics, to show the different parodic forms of national identity and the propagandistic language that represents it in the Fresán's work.
