El presente artículo nace del interés por las intenciones primeras que engendra la obra de arte en sí misma que, posteriormente, es materializada. Se centra especialmente en la producción objetual de Joan Millet (Gandía, 1958), debido a la atracción que nos proporciona el entramado narrativo que sugieren sus obras desde una apariencia cuidada y rigurosamente meditada. Esa narratividad, esas pretensiones comunicativas transitan próximas a las del lenguaje fílmico, con lo cual tratamos de desvelar las relaciones existentes entre el arte de Joan Millet y el universo cinematográfico.
This article arises from the interest to the fi rst intentions that generate the work of art, later made a reality. This article focuses especially on the production of work of arts of Joan Millet (Gandia, 1958) due to the attraction that the narrative plot provides us with his artistic works from a careful appearance and rigorously considered. That narrative, those communicative pretensions are next to those of the fi lmatic language, wherewith we try to reveal the existing relations between the art of Joan Millet and the cinema
