Es posible conceptualizar la imagen del fotomontaje como poesía visual o imagen poética. El fotomontaje es una imagen que participa de los preceptos de la imagen poé - tica y de las estrategias de construcción visual retóricas como figuras de pensamiento. El fotomontaje y sus estrategias creativas cuestionan los criterios dados desde una posición panretórica y abre nuevas formas de conceptualizar la imagen. En este trabajo se analizan los límites teóricos entre poética y retórica frente al fenómeno visual del fotomontaje.
It is possible to conceptualize the photomontage image as visual poetry or poetic image. The photomontage is an image that participates in the precepts of the poetic im - age and visual rhetorical strategies of building as figures of thought. The photomontage and creative strategies question the criteria given from a position panretórica and opens new ways of conceptualizing the image. This paper examines the boundaries between poetry and rhetoric against the visual phenomenon of photomontage.
