    El objetivo de este texto es explorar y analizar la noción de la imagen expandidad, su origen enraizado en el cine expandido de Youngblood y explora las diferentes posibilidades de tratamiento a la clásica secuencia fotográfica del galope de un caballo realizada por Eadweard Muybridge.

    Gerardo Suter applies the idea of the expanded cinema of Youngblood to the image in general to the photographic one. The need to investigate more deeply the origin of this concept has been the factor to approach this topic to be able to understand the contemporary phenomena of the image in multiple platforms and as a phenomenon of widening in the current possibilities of the image.
