  • The article attempts to evaluate the theoretical importance and the explicative power of the concept of conversational history. From a theoretical viewpoint it complements, at a different level, Bakhtin’s concept of interior dialogization of discourse. It proved its efficiency mainly in the analysis of literary texts.
