    Resumen: El trabajo presenta de manera sucinta tres temas: monstruos de la fantasía anteriores al surgimiento de los vampiros, formación de su arquetipo a partir de sucesos en Europa del Este y las variantes de su estereotipo hasta nuestro siglo. De un proceso cadavérico natural malentendido surgió la idea de su sed de sangre, la cual evolucionó hasta la humanización y más aún, su visión como superhéroes.

    Abstract: The work succinctly presents three themes: fantasy monsters before the emergence of vampires, formation of their archetype from events in Eastern Europe and variants of their stereotype until our century. From a misunderstood natural cadaverous process came the idea of their thirst for blood, which evolved into humanization and even a vision of superheroes.
