La Biblioteca Capitular de Sevilla custodia el manuscrito 57-4-39, que ofrece nociones de interés para el estudio textual de la poesía de Quevedo gracias a las informaciones que proporciona uno de los copistas del testimonio. Los escolios permiten retomar varios aspectos de la labor editorial de González de Salas y concluir que los túmulos citados en el título son obra de Quevedo, y que se corresponden con ejercicios retóricos del poeta como bachiller en Alcalá. Del mismo modo, el artículo intenta atraer la atención de los especialistas sobre un manuscrito de difícil consulta y poco citado.
The Capitular’s Library of Seville houses manuscript 57-4-39, which offers insights into the textual study of the poetry of Quevedo, thanks to information provided by one of the copyists of the testimony. The copyist´s comments allow for the study of several aspects of the editing work of González de Salas and the conclusion that the tombs cited in the title are the work of Quevedo and that they most likely correspond to rhetorical exercises written by the poet as a student in Alcalá. At the same time, the article attempts to draw the attention of specialists to a manuscript that is difficult to access and infrequently mentioned.
