En este trabajo abordaremos primero el análisis del amor y la pasión de las dos heroínas La Celestina y de Historia del ala oeste, y después las compararemos con el fin de demostrar las similitudes y diferencias entre las dos protagonistas, Melibea y Cui Yingying, con respecto a la curiosidad y disimulo femenino, el libre albedrío, la lujuria y el amor sensual. Literalmente, ellas dos son doncellas encerradas en sus habitaciones, sienten la misma curiosidad hacia el otro sexo. También sienten la misma insatisfacción por las restricciones de las familias y la moral feudal y aspiran a la libertad en el amor. Esto establece una base de la creación artística del amor libre y del feminismo en la literatura amorosa posterior.
In this work we will first discuss the love and passion of the two heroines in La Celestina and Romance of the Western Chamber. We will then compare them with the aim of demonstrating the similarities and differences between the two protagonists, Melibea and Cui Yingying, with respect to female curiosity and disguise, free will, lust and sensual love. Specifically, they are both maids locked up in their rooms, and they feel the same curiosity towards the other sex. They also feel the same dissatisfaction with family restraints and feudal morality and aspire to freedom in love. This establishes a basis for the artistic creation of free love and feminism in later love literature.
