El presente artículo examina la filmografía shakespereana de Matías Piñeiro junto al desarrollo y conformación de una marca autoral. La misma se perfila a partir un sistema de personajes y de una construcción dramática y expresiva recurrentes y de la exploración de textos del arte universal como disparadores narrativos y articuladores de la escritura cinematográfica del realizador. Nos detendremos en el análisis de Rosalinda (2011), Viola (2012), La princesa de Francia (2014) y Hermia & Helena (2016), films que al tiempo que vehiculizan las características distintivas de la comedias románticas del dramaturgo inglés, conforman un estilo con sello autoral y permiten postular la noción de cine posdramático a partir de la obra de Piñeiro.
This article examines the development and conformation Matías Piñeiro's authorial mark through his shakespearean filmography. It is shaped by a recurrent system of characters and dramatic and expressive constructions, the exploration of universal art texts as narrative triggers and articulators of the director's cinematographic writing. We will analyze Rosalinda (2011), Viola (2012), La princesa de Francia (2014) y Hermia & Helena (2016), films that at the same time convey the distinctive characteristics of the romantic comedies of the English playwright, make up a style with an authorial stamp and allow us to postulate the notion of postdramatic cinema.
