Las películas españolas se convierten en un fiel reflejo de la realidad y su análisis permite una nueva visión de la política y de la historia en estrecha relación con el periodismo. Los medios de comunicación y sus informadores se alzan en ocasiones como héroes protagonistas a lo largo de 70 años de estudio del cine español en 135 películas con periodistas, desde 1942 hasta 2012. Desde "El sótano" (Jaime de Mayora, 1949) en un refugio de guerra hasta "23-F" (Chema de la Peña, 2011) con los incidentes del golpe de Estado del 23 de febrero de 1981, 14 títulos permiten conocer otra cara de la historia, en este caso a través del papel de los periodistas como héroes.
Spanish films become a true reflection of reality and their analysis allows a new vision of politics and history in close relation with journalism. The media and the irinformants sometimes rise as protagonist heroes through 70 years of study of Spanish cinema in 135 films with journalists, from 1942 to 2012. From "El sótano" (Jaime de Mayora, 1949) in a shelter of war up to "23-F" (Chema de la Peña, 2011) with the incidents of February 23, 1981, 14 titles allow to know another side of the story, in this case through the role of the journalists as heroes. Films that serve to review the events that occurred in Spain from the Republic to the latest events with the terrorist group ETA in the 90s, without neglecting references to the Civil War or the Franco regime.
