In 2001 Sudamericana published Poste restante by Chilean writer Cynthia Rimsky. Ten years later, in 2010 and 2011 respectively, there would appear two other versions prepared by Sangria and Lastarria. This texto-visual travelogue contains maps, photographs and paper clippings whose layout is different in each edition. Therefore, I will begin by compared the three chilean impressions to analyze later the miscellaneous and intermedial composition of the text. Finally, I’ll raise a dual consideration of the trip as a personal search and as an artistic creation, concluding that, with his book, Rimsky provides a clear example of the mobile work of the contemporary radicant artist.
