En este artículo realizamos un breve recorrido sobre la presencia e influencia de las obras de Cervantes en Portugal, especialmente durante los siglos XVII y XVIII, un período de tiempo que ha sido menos explorado que el que va del Romanticismo hasta la actualidad. Para ello, el autor hace una clasificación en dos amplios bloques exponiendo tanto los textos más relevantes como aquellos descubiertos en los últimos años, lo que pone de manifiesto lo mucho que queda por hacer para tener un mejor conocimiento de la recepción cervantina en la literatura portuguesa.
In this article we carry out a brief path of the presence and influence of Cervantes´ works in Portugal, especially during the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries, a period of time that has been less explored than that related from the Portuguese Romanticism to the present. To do this, the author makes a classification into two large blocks exposing both the most important texts as those discovered in recent years, which shows how much remains to be done to gain a better understanding of Cervantes´ reception in Portuguese literatura.
