En el marco de las animadas relaciones de poesía y pintura en la Venecia del Cinquecento, se cuentan dos poemas de Aretino ("Furtivamente Tiziano e Amore") y Hurtado de Mendoza ("Tu gracia, tu valor, tu hermosura") dedicados al retrato de Tiziano de una dama misteriosa que se ha identificado con doña Marina de Aragón y una amante judía, con toda una serie de problemas. Este trabajo pretende examinar la red de relaciones que está detrás de este ejercicio picto-poético, así como examinar ambos textos en relación con el arte y el posible cuadro en el marco de los poemas di ritratto.
In the context of the intense relationships between poetry and painting in Venice during the 14th Century, appears two poems by Aretino ("Furtivamente Tiziano e Amore") and Hurtado de Mendoza ("Tu gracia, tu valor, tu hermosura") dedicated to Tiziano’s portrait of a mysterious lady that has been identified with doña Marina de Aragón and a Hebrew mistress, with a series of problems. This work aims to review the network of contacts that is the base for this pictorial- poetical exercise, as well as to examine both texts in relation with the artistic world and the possible paintings in the tradition of portrait-poems.
