El objetivo de este trabajo es el estudio del nacimiento de la devoción al Corazón de Jesús en Córdoba y su difusión en la población a lo largo del siglo XVIII. El inicio tiene lugar en la parroquia de Santa Marina en 1737 por iniciativa del sacerdote Antonio Moreno de Arciniega y muy pronto se expande por su influencia a los monasterios femeninos del Cister y Santa Marta.
The aim of this work is to study the birth of the devotion to the Heart of Jesus in Cordoba and its spread among the population throughout the 18th century. The beginning takes place in the parish of Santa Marina in 1737 by the initiative of the priest Antonio Moreno de Arciniega and very soon it expands by its influence to the feminine monasteries of the Cistercian and Santa Marta.
