    l següent article documenta un patró entonatiu per a les oracions interrogatives propi de Lleó, resultat de la fusió del patró tradicional de l’àrea, descendent (¡H* L%), compartit amb l’astur-lleonès, i el patró propi de l’espanyol estàndard (L* H%), el resultat del qual, ¡H* LH%, s’alterna en l’ús amb el patró tradicional amb la diferència que s’empra en contextos més formals que aquest.

    This paper finds a new intonational contour used in Leonese Spanish y/n questions as a result of a fusion of the traditional pattern (¡H* L%) and the standard and widespread pattern L* H%. The usage of the new pattern alternates with the traditional one, being the new one preferred in more prepared and formal contexts.
