La intención de estas páginas obedece a un doble objetivo: por un lado, analizar las relaciones entre grafías y fonemas en la tradición escritural de la Asturias de los siglos XIII, XIV y XV, apartado en que incluimos las preferencias gráficas de los escribas para la representación de fonemas inexistentes en latín y las oposiciones fonológicas vigentes de creación romance; por otro, detectar los posibles rastros de lengua oral en el medio escrito que nos permitan trazar diferencias nítidas entre dichos siglos y, así, observar si los notarios seguían la norma lingüística castellana en detrimento de la autóctona.
The intention of these pages obeys a double objective: on the one hand, to analyze the relationships between spellings and phonemes in the scriptural tradition of Asturias in the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries, a section in which we include the graphic preferences of the scribes for the representation of non-existent phonemes in Latin and the current phonological oppositions of romance creation; on the other hand, to detect the possible traces of oral language in the written medium that allow us to draw clear differences between those centuries and, thus, observe whether notaries followed the Castilian linguistic norm to the detriment of the native one.
