El presente estudio hace referencia a las formas de tratamiento utilizadas en la variedad del español hablado en Quito (Ecuador). El objetivo es analizar hasta qué punto el voseo sigue vivo entre las generaciones más jóvenes (edades comprendidas entre 17 y 27 años). Con ese fin, se ha aplicado un cuestionario a una muestra de 142 habitantes quiteños, entre hombres y mujeres para indagar si mantienen el uso de la forma vos en sus conversaciones cotidianas. Se planteó una metodología cuantitativa descriptiva con variables respecto a los usos sociales. Se realizó un análisis gramático pragmático de estas formas y se las define a través de la teoría de La Gramática Categorial funcional de Xavier Frías Conde (2005).
Apoyado de un etiquetado que permite individualizar y diferenciar a la vez, sus usos. Se analizan los resultados teniendo en cuenta las variables de edad, género, profesión, entre otras; para llegar a conclusiones de cómo se utiliza esta forma de tratamiento.
This study refers to the forms of treatment used in the variety of Spanish spoken in Quito (Ecuador). The objective is to analyze the extent to which voseo is still alive among the younger generations (ages 17-27). To this end, a questionnaire has been applied to a sample of 142 inhabitants of Quito, between men and women to inquire whether they maintain the use of the form vos in their daily conversations. A descriptive quantitative methodology was proposed with variables regarding social uses.
A pragmatic grammar analysis of these forms was carried out and they are defined through the Functional Categorial Grammar theory of Xavier Frías Conde (2005). Supported by a labeling that allows individualizing and differentiating at the same time, its uses. The results are analyzed taking into account the variables of age, gender, profession, among others; to reach conclusions on how this form of treatment is used.
