The reality of Spain post-crisis has caused that writers born as of 1974 (the 2010 Generation divided into two segments, the mileuristas and the millennials) face the perception of the country that no longer corresponds with their idea of the current socioeconomic and sociocultural reality. These young people lived their childhood and first youth immersed in the artificial belief of a solved future within a developed country, living to the limit of the savage capitalism, though. The crisis of 2008 provoked an absolute change of scenario and left on the way a string of broken mirrors because these young people discovered that they could not reach nor achieve whatever they desired (in that directed effort inculcated since their childhood), nor express their artistic ego under the everlasting protection of the State.
This article reflects around the generational disenchantment. It focuses its interest in Cristina Morales, National Narrative Award, author educated under these historic-ideological parameters. Very disappointed, she strives to squeeze the last drops of abundance out of the system. To do that, she has used her observation and experience in the publishing world creating a character for herself not yet exploited in the XXI Century, the radical anti-system writer, strategy that is proven in her work Lectura fácil.
