En esta investigación se presenta una análisis lingüístico del na’vi, lengua creada por Frommer con propósitos estéticos para complementar el universo fantástico recreado en Avatar.
Con este estudio se pretende mostrar cómo el autor diseña los principales rasgos fonéticos, gramaticales y léxicos de este sistema con el fin de asociarlo a la cultura na’vi y conseguir así el efecto deseado: un sonido bello y extraño a su vez.
This paper presents a linguistic analysis of Na’vi, language created by Frommer with aesthetic purposes to complement the fantastic universe recreated in Avatar. This study aims to show how the author designs the main phonetic, grammatical and lexical features of this system in order to associate it with the Na’vi culture and thus achieve the desired effect: a beautiful and strange sound in turn
