Carmen Jiménez es una de las grandes maestras de la escultura del siglo XX, no solo en Andalucía sino en toda España. Fue una de las primeras mujeres que alcanzó Cátedra en Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes y en Facultad Universitaria. Es una persona de gran categoría artística y excepcional sensibilidad. Sus esculturas están plenas de maestría. En ellas destacamos un desarrollo progresivo en perfección y madurez. Desde el punto de vista escultórico no tiene límites.
Carmen Jiménez is one of the great masters of 20th century sculpture, not only in Andalusia but in Spain as a whole. She was one of the first women to hold a chair in the High School of Fine Arts and in the University Faculty. She is a person of great artistic category and exceptional sensitivity. Her sculptures are full of mastery. They show a progressive development in perfection and maturity. From the sculptural point of view they have no limits.
