El presente estudio tiene por objetivo la demarcación y el análisis de la demencia tipo alzhéimer (DTA) a partir de déficits lingüísticos asociados. Presentamos el caso clínico de una paciente desde una aproximación lingüística, así como un panorama general de la patología. Hemos obtenido datos a partir de la observación, registro y análisis de comportamientos lingüísticos, recogidos a través de tareas semidirigidas (enfocadas en producciones orales) y cuestionarios estandarizados. Los datos señalan que los trastornos del sistema nervioso central inherentes al DTA conllevan también alteraciones en las redes que intervienen en el uso correcto del lenguaje. La investigación contribuye a visibilizar los trastornos del habla y su rehabilitación, así como la función del lingüista clínico en el contexto del DTA.
The present article aims to demarcate and analyze Alzheimer's dementia (ad) based on its associated linguistic deficits. We present the clinical case of a patient from a linguistic approach and an overview of the pathology. We obtained data from the observation, recording, and analysis of linguistic behaviors, collected through semi-di-rected tasks (from her oral production) and the application of standardized questionnaires. The data indicate that the central nervous system disorders inherent to ad also entail alterations in the networks involved in the correct use of language.This research contrib-utes to the visibility of speech disor-ders and their rehabilitation, and high-lights the role of the clinical linguist in the context of ad.
